That was the kind of game we need to win. Had an early lead of 3-1, then gave up a 2-run Soriano jack(who I wouldn't mind seeing in Orange and Black next year) and several more runs, with a final score of 9-3. Hopefully we can pick up a W tomorrow, but I won't hold my breathe with Chen facing Livan Hernandez.

Roberts is still on the DL, and has missed 18. I thought he was only supposed to miss 10 at the most? Hopefully we get him back by the time we go to Seattle.

John Parrish:Out for the year.

Chris Gomez:On the 60-day DL as of May 11, suffered an injured hand on a hit by pitch. Back a little after the All-Star break?

Tim Byrdak:On the 60-day DL due to an injured elbow, and has no time-table for return. Sportsline says he may be out all season.

David Newhan:On the 60-day DL due to a broken leg. Had his cast removed 5/6. Will be back sometime after All-Star break.

Jay Gibbons:On the 15-day DL, the Sun says he'll be back right after the ASB.
