11-9

The O's dropped another one, and lost their first series since they were swept by Boston in the first weekend of the year.

Miguel Tejada had a great game today, and on the first pitch of the 2nd inning he lifted off on Randy Johson, making the score 1-0 O's thru 1 1/2.

That lead didn't stand for long though, as the yankees started to hit Chen in the second. A Giambi homer to right-center, and 3 singles made the score 2-1 thru 2.

The next inning Giambi homered again, making the score 4-1.

The next few innings the yanks scored on a sac fly, and then on a Giambi double off Brower, ending the scoring and the game. 7-1. Final.

Game notes:Giambi got 2 jacks today, and 4 RBI's. The home runs were his 6th and 7th.

Miggy went 4-4 today, bringing his average up to .426. He hit his 4th HR, and if Luis Castillo doesn't go off today he'll be #1 in the league in batting.

Chen picked-off his 3rd runner of the season, but he also gave up 2 jacks, his 14,999,999th and 15 millionth.

The Red Sox beat the Blue Jays, so we are still in 2nd, but 1.5 games out now(TB lost also).

Off-day tomorrow, but we're in Canada on tuesday, with Rodrigo facing Gustavo Chacin.

Go O's!
